Select template for Export Report

From WorkWithPlus 12 you will be able to select between predefined templates to use in the PDF reports. The template can be selected from the property "Template" within the WorkWithPlus Settings:

WorkWithPlus Pattern Settings dialog on the Actions tab, with the standard action list (Insert, Update, Delete, Display, Export, ExportReport, ExportCSV, Help, Trn_First, Trn_Previous, Trn_Next) and ExportReport highlighted by a red arrow. Its properties show Caption WWP_ExportReportCaption, Tooltip WWP_ExportReportTooltip, Enabled by Default True, Consider User Conditions True, and Template set to ExportReportTemplate_Style1.

The template is a procedure with the layout that you want to include in your reports. By default, WorkWithPlus includes three different styles (you can visualize them in the "ExportReportStyles" folder)

These styles where developed based on the "Report Templates" available in the KB. You can visualize all the available templates from the "Report Templates" tabs within the WorkWithPlus Settings:

WorkWithPlus Pattern Settings dialog on the Report templates tab, with tabs for InvoiceStyle1, InvoiceStyle2, InvoiceStyle3, and ReportEmpty highlighted in a red box. The InvoiceStyle1 template tree (printTitle, t1-t5 table nodes, CompanyName, Phone, Mail, Website, AddressLine1/2) is shown alongside a preview of a blue-banner invoice header with company contact info, Billed to, Invoice Number, and Invoice Total fields.

By using these templates, you can also create a new procedure as your own template according to your needs. For example, by adding headers, logos, footer, etc.

Once you have selected the desired templates, all the PDF reports generated by the "Export Report" action will be created by using that template.

Exported report titled Person List styled with a blue header banner showing company info (DVelop Software Solutions, phone, email, website, address) and a footer with page number and date. The body table lists people with columns Id, First Name, Last Name, Age, and Email.
