Floating Labels

One of the new Controls which was included in WorkWithPlus 12 is the "Floating Label". This control allows the developer to use this functionality in your variables and attributes in a simple way.

If you use this functionality you will have the input description inside the field, and when you select the text field to write something the description moves to the top of the field.

A generated Web Panel named Person is shown with the Dvelop theme: a teal top bar, a left sidebar menu (Administrator User, search box, Home, Menu Option 1-3), and a General Information panel on the right showing Id, First Name, Last Name, and Full Name fields.

To implement this behavior you need to select in the  "Startup wizard" the option 'Has floating labels':

Step 6 of the WorkWithPlus Startup Wizard, 'Attributes and Background styles', shows Style options (Rectangle/Line), Attribute widths (Real width/Fixed width), and a 'Has floating labels' checkbox highlighted by a red arrow. The right preview panel displays a sample Person's Transaction page with Id, Birth Date, First Name, and Last Name fields using floating labels.

Doing that you will have in your application this kind of labels.
