Dynamic Sections

WorkWithPlus for Web 15 Upgrade #3, adds the possibility to include Dynamic Sections in transaction forms or Web Panel based on Bussiness Component forms. 

This means that you will be able to include fields in a transaction or a Web Panel dynamically (at runtime). These fields can be inside a grid, repetitive or simple. And also can have conditions of visibility or validation conditions.

This functionality requires having the Dynamic Forms module activated.


For example: having the following Company transaction:
GeneXus IDE Company transaction Structure tab lists its attributes: CompanyId (Id), CompanyName (Name), CompanyDescription (WWP_Description, WWPBaseObjects), CompanyLogo (Image), and CompanySize (CompSize).

 

If you include a Dynamic Section, at runtime it will look like the following image:

WorkWithPlus runtime Company form displays General Information fields (Company, Name "WorkWithPlus", Description, Logo, Size) labeled "Attributes of Company transaction", and below it Number of Employees, Home office for employees, and Benefits for employees fields labeled "Dynamic Section fields", with Confirm/Cancel buttons.

 

The Dynamic Section is configured at runtime, in the menu option 'Dynamic Sections':

WorkWithPlus web application shows the "Dynamic Sections for Company" form with a Dynamic Section dropdown set to "Main", and fields Number of Employees, Home office for employees (button group: Never, Some days a week, Always), and Benefits for employees (tag selector with "Fitness"), plus Confirm and Cancel buttons, within a left sidebar menu.
