General Properties:

Name:

This property specifies the name of the variable.

Description:

This property specifies the description of the variable.

Font:

This property specifies the font that the variable will have.

Fore Color:

This property specifies the text color of the variable.

Back Color:

This property specifies the back color of the variable.

Word Wrap:

This property specifies the value of the property 'Word Wrap' of the variable control in the print block.

Description Font:

This property specifies the font to the description of the variable.

Description Fore Color:

This property specifies the text color to the description of the variable.

Description Back Color:

This property specifies the back color to the description of the variable.

Properties Of Category Type Definition:

Data type:

This property specifies wheter the variable will have a basic type or whether it will be based on some attribute or domain.
Depending on the value of Data Type property some properties are visible or hidden automatically.

Type:

This property specifies the type of the variable. Most of the Genexus possible types are supported by this property.

Domain / Attribute:

This property specifies the domain or attribute on which the variable will be based on. 

Length:

This property specifies the length of the data type. This property is enabled for data types Numeric, Character, VarChar and LongVarChar. 

Decimals:

This property specifies the number of digits after the comma. This property is only enabled for data type Numeric.

Properties Of Category Location In Father Table:

Align:

This property specifies the align of the variable. The options are:

• Left.
• Center.
• Right.
• Justify.

Vertical Align:

This property specifies the vertical align of the variable. The options are:

• Top.
• Middle.
• Bottom.

Show Description:

This property specifies if the description of the variable will be shown or not.

Description Position:

This property specifies the position of the description. The options are:

• Left.
• Top.

Description Align:

This property specifies the align to the description of the variable.

Description Vertical Align:

This property specifies the vertical align to the description of the variable.

Margin Top:

This property specifies the margin top of the variable.

Margin Left:

This property specifies the margin left of the variable.

Margin Bottom:

This property specifies the margin bottom of the variable.

Margin Right:

This property specifies the margin right of the variable.

Column Span:

This property specifies how many columns will occupy the variable in the major table.

Row Span:

This property specifies how many rows will occupy the variable in the major table.

Start Col/Fst Avail:

This property specifies the number of column where the variable will be layout, counting from the next cell unoccupied. If this property is 0, the control will occupy the next cell available.
