Variable node has the following properties:

Depending on the value of Data Type property some properties are visible or hidden automatically.
This property specifies the type of the variable. Most of the Genexus possible types are supported by this property.
This property specifies the domain or attribute on which the variable will be based on.
This property specifies the length of the data type. This property is enabled for data types Numeric, Character, VarChar and LongVarChar.
This property specifies the number of digits after the comma. This property is only enabled for data type Numeric.
This property specifies the align of the variable. The options are:
- Left.
- Center.
- Right.
- Justify.
This property specifies the vertical align of the variable. The options are:
This property specifies if the description of the variable will be shown or not.
This property specifies the position of the description. The options are:
This property specifies the align to the description of the variable.
This property specifies the vertical align to the description of the variable.
This property specifies the margin top of the variable.
This property specifies the margin left of the variable.
This property specifies the margin bottom of the variable.
This property specifies the margin right of the variable.
This property specifies how many columns will occupy the variable in the major table.
This property specifies how many rows will occupy the variable in the major table.
This property specifies the number of column where the variable will be layout, counting from the next cell unoccupied. If this property is 0, the control will occupy the next cell available.
