WorkWithPlus for Agents

WorkWithPlus for Agents can be used to create and manipulate WorkWithPlus instances in your Knowledge Base (GeneXus 18) using AI Agents. An AI Agent can create, configure, and build WorkWithPlus screens for you, without opening the editors manually. WorkWithPlus exposes a set of tools to the GeneXus MCP server, so the Agent understands WorkWithPlus and can operate on your Knowledge Base through natural-language instructions. It is not necessary to install a specific version of WorkWithPlus in your GeneXus 18 installation, so WorkWithPlus generation will remain exactly the same.

What it does

Through the WorkWithPlus tools available to the Agent, you can ask it to perform the most common WorkWithPlus tasks, and it carries them out end-to-end:

  • Create WorkWithPlus instances from a template or from an object's existing layout.
  • Apply a template to an instance element, and build a complete Web Panel screen from a description.
  • Initialize or customize the Design System of the Knowledge Base (through the Design System Wizard), or find out which Design System is already applied.
  • Apply, update, and build instances, and preview the generated screen.

The Agent is guided by a dedicated WorkWithPlus knowledge package, so the instances it produces follow the WorkWithPlus specification (valid nodes, properties, and platform rules) and integrate with the rest of the pattern the same way a manually authored instance would.
